Training Workshop on Neglect 20th of August, Cork

Unfortunately, the majority of children in our care have experienced neglect. The workshop offered insights into the experiences of children, impact on their emotional wellbeing and how to support their development. While there is no quick fix or one size fits all participants were encouraged to use reflective practice to assist children in their care.

Five Rivers Fostering would like to remind carers that the 'Preparing for Independence - Young People Leaving Care' workshop that was to take place on 25th August in Cork has been cancelled. Carers will be contacted when a new date for this workshop has been set.
